Cinnamon Protein Churro

Yields 12 Churros | Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup oat flour
1 scoop TrueFit Cinnamon Churro
1/4 tsp xanthan gum
1 whole egg + 1 egg white
2 tbsp almond milk
1 tbsp granulated stevia
4 tbsp room temp Coconut oil
Pinch Salt

PLUS
1 cup coconut oil for frying
1 tbsp cane sugar and cinnamon for dusting

Directions

Bring water and coconut oil to a simmer. In a separate bowl, mix TrueFit Cinnamon Churro, flours, salt, and xanthan gum. Add the dry ingredients to the water oil mixture and stir until it creates a dough. Take off the heat. Add in egg white first, mix until incorporated. Add the whole egg and repeat. Let cool. Add the mixture to a pastry bag with a large star tip. Heat coconut oil to 350 degrees. Pipe the mixture into the oil, cutting the dough at desired length. Fry until golden. Toss immediately in the cinnamon and cane sugar mixture./p>
