Did you over-indulge a little on your holiday treats? We’ve all been there. Let’s start this year off with some healthy treat swaps that still let you enjoy your sweets, but help you do it in a smart way.
Make Nice Cream
Nice cream is a frozen treat that you’ll love in place of ice cream. In a blender, add a frozen banana, a half scoop of protein powder, and a little liquid to smooth it out. Blend and adjust the liquid to get your preferred consistency.
Favorite ingredient combo:
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ scoop of RSP Nutrition TrueFit plant protein powder Salted Chocolate protein powder
- 1 tsp. PB2 powdered peanut butter
Craft DIY Popsicles
Grab a popsicle mold and get creative! You’ll need a blender to puree your favorite fruit and add a little liquid to get your preferred consistency. Pour into the mold and freeze until solid.
Favorite ingredient combo:
- Container of fresh strawberries
- Container of fresh raspberries
- Coconut water
Stir Up Some Chocolate Fluff
This is an idea I got from TikTok that will blow your mind. You’ll need:
- Container of lite whipped topping, thawed
- Banana, sliced
- Package of sugar-free chocolate pudding mix
- A sprinkle of dark chocolate chips
Mix everything together in the whipped topping container and freeze. Enjoy from the freezer.
Roll Some Energy Balls
These little guys are a nice treat to grab and take with you. All you have to do is combine ingredients, roll into balls, and chill. So easy!
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 scoops RSP TrueFit Chocolate meal replacement powder
- 2 Tbsp. dark chocolate chips
